I just went for a lovely birding walk in local Nature Reserve 2 and got inspired: with the help of the Merlin bird ID app I'm going to record all the birds I see/hear between 24/12/24 and 25/12/25. It'll be under the hashtag #2425YearOfBirding. Anyone want to join me?

Accept that it is impossible for you satisfy everybody completely. Between conflicting needs and some people not wishing to be satisfied, even the best efforts with the best of intentions cannot make everybody happy. Just do the right thing as often as you can.

I got through work OK and I've been able to have a nice rest since then. I got out for a quick walk around the block between classes too so I managed some fresh air and light today! Tomorrow'll be another busy one but this is the time of year when I make the bulk of the year's income.

Aww, friend just dropped round a bag of apples from the glut she's had on her tree this autumn! Yays! Free apples! Add those to the couple of kg of blackberries in the freezer and I see a LOT of crumbles in our future 😋

Huzzah! I got out for a shortish walk after lunch - my first time out the house since Monday thanks to the ice, snow & too-cold-for-my-asthmatic-lungs air. I'm relaxing now until I start work at 4pm. This weekend is a bit easier than my usual timetable so I shouldn't be as knackered by Mon as usual.

At least it's honest, right? Intrusive questioning of women who don't conform to norms about how they should look, and women then being banned if they tell their inquisitor to mind his own sodding business, has always been the logical end point for the patriarchal project that is TERFdom.

Happy Thursday folks! We've had a bit more snow overnight so it's cold, icy and a day to stay inside. Thankfully I can, as it's a day off. We overslept this morning - didn't set alarms as we didn't need to - and I only got a 3/5 on Visible so an easy day will do me good. Hope you have a good one x
