Happy Wednesday folks! We had heavy rain last night, sub zero temps overnight so it's a *skating rink* out there today! Our groceries have arrived though & I've done a bit of paperwork, so that's it until I teach at 5pm. My toes are wrapped up & I'm taking it easy. Have a good one x

Opened a kiosk fridge in on holiday in Poland. Caught my forearm on the locking mechanism. Scored a massive bloody line down about 8cm on my arm and had to patch it up in the nearest McDonald's bathroom. Still have a scar from it 🙄
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

I finished my latest scrapbook project based around the Japanese kawai(cute) aesthetic. I've incorporated some souvenirs I brought back from Japan around 20 years ago - seemed a good way to use them.

Happy Tuesday folks! It's another cold one here so an indoors day. I start back at work this evening so I've just been doing some paperwork for it. I can relax now until mid afternoon though so that's what I'm going to do. And keep my poor be-chillblained toesies as warm as possible.

Happy Sunday folks! It's a skating rink out there today after yesterday's snow partially melted & refroze, so I'm staying in. Hubby just put his shoe grips on & has gone to the local Co-Op (5 mins walk) for some bits but then we'll both be inside & keeping warm today. Hope you have a good one! x

Batch baking accomplished! I *was* able to get the bread & sponges out the oven just in time for the containers to cool & be reused for dinner which saved a bit on washing up. Hubby just scoffed some of his apple sponge & gave it his seal of approval, & I'm about to have some of the blueberry one😋

It's batch baking time! 2 loaves of GF bread are now rising & in about half an hour I'll mix up a couple of GF fruit sponges for Hubby & I to have for snacking. It should all be out of the oven by the time dinner goes in, if I've timed things correctly.
