“All make $10m+” Why is this presented as excessive? Major League Baseball has 140 *male* players set to play in 2026 on contracts worth at least $10m average annual value… so far. Just one sport. www.sportico.com/personalitie...
Highest-Paid Female Athletes 2025: Top 15 All Make $10M+
The top 15 earned an estimated $249 million this year, and the cutoff to make the cut jumped from $6.7 million in 2024 to $10.1 million.

American fascism is hilarious; it’s politics as aesthetics, but the aesthetics are ass.

Historian of eugenics here. I don't normally like to retweet bad arguments, but this is such a fundamental misunderstanding of eugenics, I think it's important to point out. I don't have time to debunk all of the ways this is inaccurate, but I'll highlight a few things and then recommend some books🧵

In THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, Jack Skellington sees something, decides it belongs to him, and pumps out an altered version of it that almost looks like the real thing (but which sucks and everyone hates) while nearly destroying the thing he claimed to be championing.

Last week, ICE arrested and separated a father and son after a routine check-in. Six-year-old Yuanxin had just enrolled in the first grade at an elementary school in Astoria. Now he's in custody, alone. ICE won't say where. This cruelty serves no one. It must end.

My bipartisan IRS MATH Act with Senator Bill Cassidy is now law.

Now, if you mess up your taxes, the IRS has to tell you where you made a mistake and how to fix it.

No more spending a fortune on lawyers or hours to find errors.

That means fewer headaches and more money in your pocket.
