AI has some good uses. I’ll admit it. But every time I see an AI generated picture or art it feels like my eyes have been assaulted.

Just me over here contemplating the number of times I’ve applied or re-applied lipstick or lipgloss is likely over 35,000 times in the last 30 years and how that likely means I’ve eaten all of it. 💄💋😋😭

I see this every day in the hospital. People not believing in the most basic of healthcare. The morbidity and mortality is staggering to contemplate.

If you are looking to spend like $600 as fast as humanly possible no better way than “going to the vet” (dog is fine this was just a checkup plus her many poisonous vaccines)

Now that Disney owns Fox, which means they own the Alien franchise, I can't stop thinking about how the Alien Queen is now a Disney Princess/Queen.

The news this morning (and it seems every morning): here’s this thing that wasn’t perfect but was showing improvement. Now here’s how it’s being completely destroyed x6 segments/hr with some headlines and a five minute piece about a book or artist to sprinkled in. Repeat.

The first measles death in the US in a decade -- the tragic, preventable death of a child whose parents chose not to protect them with vaccination -- should spark an immediate nation-wide campaign to ensure all children are protected against preventable diseases. Anything less is unconscionable.

Not only were all childhood vaccines studied more rigorously than nearly any other medical therapeutic before ending up on the vaccine schedule, we also have years of data on BILLIONS of administrations since. No other medical interventions have been tested as rigorously as childhood vaccines have.
Every single vaccine in the childhood schedule has been subjected to the highest level of scrutiny for any medical product. Because vaccines are given to an otherwise healthy population, safety and effectiveness are essential.

The #1 reported reason people avoid doctor’s appointments is because they’re afraid of finding out they have a serious illness.

If you have that fear, that’s normal and you’re not alone. Also remember, there is basically no serious illness that isn’t less serious if you catch it sooner.
