This is as pathetic a both sides framing as I have seen in a long time. No. Comparison.
Donald Trump had reasonable concerns about how Joe Biden’s relatives enriched themselves through his service. Yet his own family is making the “Biden crime family” look small-time

The real issue isn’t left vs right.

It’s not white vs black.

It’s not citizen vs immigrant.

It’s not gay vs straight.

The real issue is that a lot of powerful people have a vested interest — and a lot of money invested — in dividing us, and it’s working.

It does not reflect well on a news organization to fire a commentator for offering their opinion, especially when it was accurate and needed to be said. Especially a contributor of dependable insights like Dowd.

The greatest political scandal today is not what Trump is doing. It is the fact that congressional Republicans have given up their role in the constitutional system as a check on the executive branch. If we are in a constitutional crisis, it is as much on Mike Johnson and John Thune as anyone else.

Fact check: nearly 70 percent of US money for Ukraine actually went to US defense industry to replenish the stocks of OLD stuff that went to Ukraine to use.

Much of which we would have paid to destroy as their lifespan expired.

The states most dependent on federal money are disproportionately Trump-voting red states.

—13 of the top 20 states that got more from DC than they paid in taxes voted for Trump 3X.

—Top 5 states that sent DC more than they got (and 9 of the top 10) are all blue states that voted against Trump 3X.

This is what should be on every front page right now. What's happening in the US right now is an illegal power grab by a private citizen. IT'S A COUP.

It's a digital coup. It's Musk who's leading it. The consequences are terrifying. And it's coming for us next.

Farmers on the hook for millions after Trump freezes USDA funds

Excellent piece. Where are the Republicans whose constituents are likely to suffer greatly under Trump. Less populated states rely on federal funding, farmers will be affected by a $2B loss from cuts to USAID. When are they going to stand up for those that elected them?

Republicans ran into the room to SHEILD Elon Musk from having to come and speak to Congress. They want their billionaire takeover done behind closed doors. The people deserve transparency. No one elected Elon Musk.
I’m in Oversight Committee right now. Ranking Member Connolly just called for a vote to subpoena Elon Musk. Republicans out-number us on this committee, but many aren’t in the room. We’ll see who wins this vote. We deserve transparency and answers.

He never thought Trump would actually impose tariffs; figured it was just campaign talk. If they go into effect, he fears he’ll have to lay off most of his 65 employees.

Hi all, We’re still here at OPM.

We have a situation where we MIGHT, and I do mean, MIGHT have four of Elon’s people blocked from the building.

Can we get press or a member of Congress down here? We’ve blocked them for two hours and they keep coming back and trying to go in.

Incompetency at its finest. We are so fucked.
Power in politics is, as much as anything, the perception of power.

And as malevolent as they may be, these incompetent fools in the White House have come out of the gate looking very, very weak.
