Amazon workers in Quebec unionized last year.

This week, Amazon closed its warehouse operations in Quebec.

Amazon denied the closures were related to unionization, but it has a track record of crushing unions in America.

Union busting is disgusting — and a global problem.
Amazon Closes Operations in Quebec, Laying off 1,700 Workers
Unions had gained a foothold in one of the company’s warehouses in the province, though Amazon would not say if there was a connection.

Americans overwhelmingly opposed this.

He did it because he wants to send a signal to far-right domestic extremists all over the country that he will soon call on them to again commit violence to keep him in power—and if they do so well enough, they will face no consequences.

The message is clear.

The inverted flag isn’t disrespect — it’s a distress signal from naval traditions, used to show grave danger to life or property.

With a lawless man set to take power after attempting to overthrow the government, America is in extreme danger.

That’s why I’m posting it today.

It's so fitting that Donald Trump's inauguration will be held in the Capitol Rotunda, the very place four years ago where his pack of lawless loons ransacked, looted, and smeared their excrement. What an apt metaphor for what the incoming administration plans to do to America.

Biden is doing for Trump what Trump, the sorest loser ever, refused to do for Biden--be there for his inauguration.

Because, unlike Trump, Biden has class and cares more about honoring American traditions than dishing up petty slights.

— Trump was *for* the TikTok ban
— which the GOP Congress passed
— and the GOP Supreme Court upheld
— and even though Biden said he wouldn't enforce the ban, TikTok shut down anyway
— so that Trump could "save" it
— and the media fell for it
