I hate when I see what I think is conspiracy thinking in myself, but I still think there's 3D chess being played, but Melon Tusk is just a rook, being used to bulldoze through the pawns that are the grassroots organisers that use SM.
I am fully willing to buy a lot of what he's done is motivated by his obvious desire to crush the left, but he could have done a better or at least less hamhanded job about it if he wasn't... *gestures broadly*

As a disabled artist, I'm so fucking sick of hearing people say that being anti-AI is ableist. Art is one of the few careers open to disabled people, and now we have to compete with robots. When our jobs are eliminated, we can't just get a labor job to replace it.
