As someone who spends a lot time thinking about the values I want to teach my kid (besides PLEASE DON’T EAT DIRT), the thing I keep coming back to is this: I want him to believe that the strongest, bravest thing he can do is give a shit about other people—especially ones who aren’t like him at all.

Democrats should not vote for a continuing resolution without language mandating the release of military aid to Ukraine. Because a Putin stooge is in the White House, and the GOP is in his thrall, Ds in Congress are the only backstop against the U.S. becoming an agent of Russia.

these guys literally only know one move and not only is it a terrible move on its own terms, but in this specific case is wildly inadequate to the moment.
No one has tried this before, let's see how it plays out.

Yes. While there are absolutely things Democrats can and must do to slow, obstruct, etc, GOP hold both House and Senate majorities, severely limiting our options.
