Hands down least “masculine” person I met covering tech. One lunch I had with him in Palo Alto (he was urging me to run for mayor and wanted to give me $) I recall thinking what an incredibly whiny boy (I think I told someone at the time: what a limp dick) and could not get away fast enough.

It’s clear from the video this woman had just come to the park to play with her child. She said as much and was upset that there were masked men with guns in the park.

Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino calls the woman an “activist” and Andy Ngo says the woman was using her child as a “human shield.”

This position is fundamentally segregationist—civilization is "erased" by the presence of people who do not share the ethnic background of the present majority—something ironically at odds with the history of Europe, which has been profoundly shaped by migration bsky.app/profile/matt...
All this hate for migrants when nothing transforms a culture more than capital. No amount of immigrants will ever change America, the capitol of capital, more than America transforms immigrants into American businesspeople, citizens of money.

It’s in fact extremely easy to give away money in a way that helps people.

Stuff like this is just what you say when you don’t actually want to help others.

"a Russian military victory in Ukraine is not inevitable, and a rapid Russian seizure of the rest of Donetsk Oblast is not imminent"
and the US officials who keep saying so are repeating Russian propaganda
NEW: Data on Russian forces’ rate of advance indicates that a Russian military victory in Ukraine is not inevitable, and a rapid Russian seizure of the rest of Donetsk Oblast is not imminent. Russian advances elsewhere on the frontline have been opportunistic and exploited seasonal weather. ⬇️🧵

No need to delay: Not only did the Board of Elections clearly state that they are ready and capable of implementing ranked choice voting, but the voters already told us how they "assessed the need" by overwhelmingly passing it at the ballot box.
NEWS: Ward 7 Councilmember Wendell Felder is introducing emergency legislation that would delay ranked-choice voting, which is currently set to be rolled out in D.C. in 2026. His bill would mandate that Board of Elections conduct an assessment on what it would need to implement RCV.

It’s because congressional Republicans want the enhanced subsidies to expire. That’s why they didn’t extend them in OBBBA, and that’s why they kept calling them a “December problem” even though open enrollment began on November 1.

Except, of course, it’s *not* all he can say.

Cassidy could concede publicly that confirming Kennedy was a tragic mistake. He could call for RFK Jr's resignation. He could schedule hearings, haul the secretary to Capitol Hill, and demand the CDC’s public resources reflect the scientific cannon.
TAPPER: You were the deciding vote that allowed RFK Jr to ascend to the role of Health Secretary. Did you give him too much credit?

CASSIDY: The fact is the scientific community agrees that vaccines are safe. That's all I can say.

There's no mystery to why Trump is kissing Mayor-elect Mamdani's ass.

Trump loves two things: 1) winning and 2) extraordinary media influence.

Trump is a PR whore. He recognizes the exceptional media skills of Mr. Mamdani and wants to draft off him.

That's pretty much it.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

I’m increasingly annoyed with people’s cynicism about Marjorie Taylor Greene’s pivoting as she has. Lauren Boehbert, too. Who cares if they’re genuine or not? Every MAGA cultist who stands up to Trump about anything has value, no matter their motives or veracity.
