This one has been a real winner in our house. I make it with shells most of the time, but whatever small pasta you have will do fine. For a little more oomph, cook some ground chorizo in the pot after the onions are translucent. Prep to plated in half an hour.

I'm 4 generations removed from chattel slavery. After two generations of sharecropping, my grandparents insisted that their children go to college and get jobs in education, healthcare, or finance. Or join the military.
And the next generation was taught the same.

“Humans can just go get manual labor jobs if desk jobs are repaired with AI” is both not going to suffice to provide enough jobs and is also going to result in massive societal anger because manual labor jobs often *are terrible*, which is why people have worked hard to avoid them for generations.
Even if society provided the food/shelter level needs for everyone, humans also need to perform useful work just for basic fulfillment. The vast majority of people cannot sit around all day letting AI and robots do everything.

My representatives, and Governor, have decided they prefer the idea of their constituents going hungry to doing ANYTHING about it. It is as simple as that.

It is not your job to protect the profits of shareholders. They do not need your help, and you are only a couple of bad breaks away from being the person unable to afford the food they exploit our need for.
Remember, as SNAP is about to end, the standing rule remains firm:
