Party of workers?

Party of work, actually.

No this is not the opposite! Stop saying it's the opposite!
I see Labour have admitted out loud that they interpret being "the party of workers" as meaning they're not the party of children, the elderly, the disabled, carers, the chronically ill, asylum seekers, etc. They don't want your votes and they don't respect your lives.

The belief that some people are inherently superior to others is always most appealing to those near the top of the existing hierarchy.

They are the ones with the most motive and incentive and opportunity to defend it. And to find scapegoats to blame for it. Like working class people.
No. The arrogance of the upper and middle classes drives fascism.

Those who think they are so perfect and pure that nobody should be permitted to question or challenge their authority.

The government has announced it will pay for more weapons and bombs by cutting support for the world's poorest people.

A deplorable decision that will only create a more unstable and unequal world.

What is the government doing to bring about peace?

Valentine's spent together in the shed working on old dirt bikes. Bought new jets and a mudguard instead of chocolate and wine. All relationship goals achieved.

It isn't that the kids think things can't get worse. It is that the reasonable mature adults insist that they can't get better. And that anyone saying they should actually must want the opposite of that.

🚨 BREAKING: The UK government has frozen housing benefit.

Housing benefit is already not keeping up with sky-rocketing rents, leaving people struggling to afford to live.

To ensure everyone can afford a warm, safe home the government must also increase Local Housing Allowance in line with rents.
