We have to be honest as we assess why so many Americans made this tragic choice. If we refuse to confront the underlying truth — that racism and greed occupy the throne in this country — it is the equivalent of sticking your head in the sand and believing that you’re safe.

I do not see the journalistic value in engaging with platforms that are flooding the zone with fake bots and trying to manipulate human interaction.

Thanks for reposting this! I read the CNN article and actually believed the bot was created by a team of “10 white men, 1 white woman, and 1 Asian male.” Just wondered how a SW engineering team at Meta could be so predominantly white (only *one* Asian male?!) instead of thinking the AI made it up.
