Dear game devs,
If you are going to use only small fonts "because it looks neat that way", please for the love of all provide accessibility option in settings to increase them. Small fonts in games sucks, it is 1000% of the time an awful decision especially if it contains dialog/story elements

The amount of people I know who have been laid off from games industry jobs and are deciding to leave games entirely as a result is not only extremely saddening (of course), but also genuinely scary. We have lost legitimately thousands of years of knowledge and experience in the last four years.

Audio (sound effects, music, and dialogue) has a weird relationship with temp assets, mostly because of issues revolving around human psychology.

The annoying thing about the "oh we left a placeholder" generative AI slop excuse is that that is EXACTLY NOT how you should be using placeholders. Anything "not obviously terrible with a panicked hurried half-awake glance" is getting shipped.

just finished Öoo. can't recommend it enough if you're in the mood for a super tightly designed puzzle platformer you can beat in around two hours. can't remember the last time a puzzle game made me go "oh fuck yeah" to myself so many times when i realized a clever puzzle solution
