Chinese oil refiners - both state-run and private - are shunning Russian shipments after the US and others blacklisted Moscow’s top producers and some of its customers, Bloomberg reported.

State-owned Sinopec and PetroChina have already canceled some shipments of Russian oil.

Originating in the Cold War: First World was the U.S., Western Europe and allies. The Second World was the Communist Bloc: Soviet Union, China, Cuba. The nations aligned with neither, were called Third World - it’s a term now irrelevant and insulting. Don’t use it.

The pro-EU Party of Action & Solidarity has crushed the pro-Russia Patriotic Electoral Bloc in the Moldovan election.

It won 51 seats - an outright majority.

Moldova is now on a trajectory towards EU membership.

A very bad night for Putin, who targeted Moldova with a wave of election propaganda.

I don't think they understand that his goals are much broader and more ambitious. That those goals involve the destruction of the transatlantic alliance and maybe even of the European Union.

They haven't understood that before there's going to be any end to the war, Putin will have to lose it.

With further developments likely on the Trump-Epstein front, Trump will ramp up efforts at distraction, demagoguery, counter-attacks against enemies (e.g. Gabbard’s fake revelation yesterday), and authoritarianism.
