They want slavery and slavery was the model for fascism

Until that becomes a discussed reality we will stay in hell
So it’s flown under the radar but Utah just went forward with forced labor interment camps for the homeless at the direction of the Trump administration.

We are seeing the construction of the infrastructure for industrialized death and forced enslavement for those seen as a drag on society.

That's Nazis matching in my town, Indianapolis Indiana. Apparently it's not newsworthy but I disagree. The craven piss couches made sure not to warn us, and still managed to get police escorts. I'm gonna write @marisakabas.bsky.social and hope SOMEONE reports on it

I think people missed it amid Whiskey Pete's other faceplants in congressional hearings in last two weeks--but he struggled to distinguish the US from ISIS and al Qaeda two weeks ago.
Speaking at the Pentagon just now, Pete Hegseth said, “We give glory to God for his providence.” Sounds like typical rhetoric from Iran.

It's amazing how much authority is conveyed by adding 'Defense Secretary' before a guy's name instead of 'Fox News host and big fan of the literal Crusades'
Defense Secretary Hegseth says the US attack on the Fordow nuclear site in Iran was the first operational mission of the MOP (GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator).

Trump didn’t order CMPD to pepper spray protestors in Charlotte, Trump’s Marines didn’t open up with tear gas in LA, Trump didn’t tell cops in Savannah to detain a protestor for wearing a medical mask. It’s worth asking why electeds in those heavily blue places won’t answer for any of that.

One thing I have not seen much grappling with: the Trump Administration has acted illegally with respect to the National Guard & Marines in LA plus the whole parade nonsense is a federal show of power, but cops ostensibly controlled by local governments in blue cities attacked protestors yesterday.

Masks are under serious threat at being banned widely due to politicization. This would be a public health disaster. If you are only wearing a mask at protests, please consider also wearing them elsewhere. The more people mask, the more we normalize masks and protect them against bans.

Way way more
US police are allowed to do things to American citizens which would be considered war crimes if a soldier did them to civilians in a war zone.

This includes the use of chemical weapons like tear gas. This includes the use of torture methods like solitary confinement. This includes murder.
Cops have ... marginally more firearms training than your average person.

What sets cops apart is that our society and our legal system allows them to shoot and kill people with complete impunity.

There's less accountability for a bad shoot by an American cop than for soldiers in war.

We *have* to get better about gun safety. This guy looks safe to me.
Here's some pictures of him at a protest in 2020 dressed similarly to yesterday. Per my source,

"In my circles, we are currently thinking he was dressed too militantly for a liberal march and scared jumpy "security" while adjusting kit."
