Great thread that leads to me charging $30 for a caprese salad in a restaurant to maintain margins, & not having a workforce to serve it because the immigration system will be even more broken than it is now.

I have been in the hospital with a small bowel obstruction since Sunday. There is a critical shortage of IV fluids in th US. They just stopped my fluids. I still have an NGT in and am unable to eat or drink anything. My NGY output is still significant. As a former nurse I don't feel safe.
