RE starbucks picket line--the relevant detail is "picket line, do not cross." Pass that along. Proclaiming that you are in no danger of doing so because you are too aesthetically pure to let Starbucks coffee pass your lips is...unhelpful and does not give the impression you perhaps imagine it does.

always fascinated by idea that i am not being sincere or that my tinglers are a joke or that this is a 'bit'. on one hand i get it because my art is BY DEFINITION unusual, but i just think WHAT IS ALTERNATIVE? what would me being 'fake' even mean? imagine writing 400 books over 10 years for a 'bit'

I am probably opening up a huge can of worms, but I see D&D and the works of Tolkien like I see Elfquest (and I love Elfquest). I don't need to see people who look like me in a fake mythical England. But I'm going to question the absence of those fake mythical lands where I would be.

The fun thing about Kaine’s run as the Scarlet Spider is that he doesn’t want to be a superhero, he ran away to avoid responsibility, he is aggressively not friendly, and the people of Houston fucking love him. It’s the perfect inversion of Spider-Man’s whole deal.
