I’m in S4 of my B5 rewatch, and since @straczynski.bsky.social is here, I’m hoping he’ll answer my question. When recording the opening title (“It was the year of…”), did you have each actor read the whole thing & decide who got which bit in editing, or did you decide ahead of time?

Ballot successfully dropped off while out running errands. Only one measure on the ballot (to keep the fire dept running at current capacity), but still three cars in front of me and one behind dropping off ballots. Mail-in/drop-off ballots work!

People of BlueSky! Let's get to know each other better! What is your all-time favorite TV show?
(This is really hard for me. There’s a couple of strong contenders, including Dana’s answer, but for nostalgia’s sake, I’m going to go with…)

So, you’re saying you used the pardon power, one of the most far-reaching powers the president was given by the Constitution, on a guy you know nothing about?
O'DONNELL: Why did you pardon Changpeng Zhao?

TRUMP: Are you ready? I don't know who he is

O'DONNELL: His crypto exchange Binance helped facilitate a $2b purchase of World Liberty Financial's stablecoin. And they you pardoned him.

TRUMP: Here's the thing -- I know nothing about it

11:30 they come to replace the door and door jamb. “It’ll be about an hour,” they said.

3 and a half hours later, I’m still trapped in my room with my cat because I can’t let him roam free while the front doorway is constantly open...

Getting ready to turn off the porch light and call it on the loneliest Halloween ever. Not a single knock/doorbell despite fairly pleasant weather, and kids not having to get up tomorrow morning for school. I really don’t understand it.

Don’t worry everyone. The Doctor and UNIT are on the case.
This photo accompanying a news story about the heist at the Louvre is perfection.

Now obviously we’re at a time when this is much more feasible than when I was of this age, but I’m curious…

Did anyone here go to Rocky Horror Picture Show for the their first time…with one (or both) parent(s)? If so, what was that like?

Repost with your favorite Halloween costume.

I have some feelers out to see if I can pull up a picture of my favorite costume from childhood, but this one is my favorite I wore as an adult. It’s pretty much the only time I went to a Halloween party with a romantic partner in coordinated outfits.

Introduce yourself using only one food you refuse to eat, one movie you’ll never watch again, and one song you can’t stand.

Lobster (bugs are gross, even from the sea)

“The Loss of Sexual Innocence” (I saw a free screening & apologized afterwards to the friend I brought)

Black Betty by Ram Jam
Introduce yourself using only one food you refuse to eat, one movie you’ll never watch again, and one song you can’t stand.

Bell peppers (green peppers, jalapeños, etc.)

After Hours

The Girl From Ipanema
Introduce yourself using only one food you refuse to eat, one movie you’ll never watch again, and one song you can’t stand.

Meat of any form

Nosferatu (most recent version, unless it's a compilation of Nicholas Hoult's parts because he rocked)

Stairway to Heaven or Free Bird (unbreakable tie)

An email came in with the subject header referencing the changes being made to various people’s retirement plan.

However, they left a digit out, so every time I look at the email, I think a new edition of Warhammer is being discussed.

It feels like any lawsuits that involve the person who is currently the president suing other parties should be placed on hold and not move forward at all while that person is holding office, as they have so many ways to punish the other party if the lawsuit does not go their way...

I’ve got two answers.

I had a read-along record of this first comic (1st appearance of the Man-Wolf). But, the first one I bought with my own money was the Marvel Tales reprinting Spider-Man #100 (because I wanted to read all the “Spider-Man gets changed” stories, and this one was cheap).
