I really hate it when scientists keep saying that “we need to rebuild trust in science,” because it implies that scientists are to blame for the mistrust rather than the millions of dollars of dark money that have funded political attacks on science in order to advance a far right agenda.

Something I've realized over time is people in general lack the ability to think in a broader scope and include context and eventualities. But after thousands of people get laid off from your company maybe don't suggest they turn to the thing you're trying to replace them with for solace.

I'm scared that a huge issue is not being aware:
On Aug 29th the US is removing the de minimis rule on all packages. Being international, de minimis meant no one payed tariffs on my goods since it was under $800. Now there will be a $80-200 fee to receive my art. Even for a $5 sticker. 🔸(1/4)
