I’m deeply disappointed in @bsky.app moderation; equating pushback against people like JKR with the harm they cause to trans ppl only enables more violence. I’ll talk more soon but even a day away from social media has been healthy.

JKR funded a misinformed bill that is rapidly taking away British trans people's rights in public spaces as we speak, she has had shops taken down, encouraged doxxing and harassment, has been a direct cause of increased violence and worldwide transphobia. But heaven forbid a trans person be upset!
Bsky will suspend those who wish ill on the UK's version of Elon Musk who is actively harming trans lives, but not those racist towards—and spreading misinformation about—Palestinians (who are also the ones being suspended). All right.
