In the Goopy Inferno mission in Super Mario Sunshine, one of the Piantas is an unexpected Chuckster. A player who talks to him and happens to tilt the Analog Stick in an unfortunate direction after exiting the dialogue will make him throw Mario with enough momentum to kill him.

In the recent Direct for Mario Kart World, it was revealed that you must work a minimum wage job in order to afford the expensive entry fee for Grand Prix mode. It is explained that to make the game feel more immersive, they raised the game's price to simulate the experience.
