#Starbucks installed hostile furniture at my local store the same year they released a holiday cup featuring a friendly third-place storefront.

I feel like you and I are cut from the same cloth -- this was fascinating. I read the whole damn thing, and I'm pretty sure my electrical engineer Dad had some of those Pickett lettering stencils in his office when I was a kid.

the whole point of her character is that she deeply miserable and has been for a very long time. It wasn’t the world ending that made her that way. If you are wanting instantly likable main characters, don’t watch Gilligan’s shows.
