Managed to catch a theatre showing of Wake Up Dead Man. I really love those movies, and this one was just as fun as the previous two. My only complaint? Not enough Jeffrey Wright.

You all should really check out Pluribus. Rhea Seehorn is damn good in it and the story so far has me hooked.

I don’t think it should be expected for you to dress up for a funeral— especially if you are a part of the deceased‘s family. The day is hard enough; don’t make people wear hard shoes.

My mother-in-law passed this morning. She dedicated her career to early childhood education and making sure young children with disabilities got the crucial early support they needed. She loved college football, the Beat poets, cats, and the Grateful Dead. She will be missed. 💜

Gonna go ahead and say it should be against the rules to die in the months of November-January. No death around the holidays, thank you.
Complained about having to go on a work trip and the universe responded. Had to cancel it because a family member is in the ICU and the outlook isn’t good currently.
Have to go to a work conference this weekend and I am not jazzed about having to work on my days off.
