Two years ago Arsenal fans were saying Arteta is going to match Klopp’s legacy in only three seasons. Turns out Oliver Glasner matched Arteta’s in 15 months.

And the supporters of those clubs are free to react to their players leaving on a free when they're winning domestic titles and reaching domestic finals, competing in the CL... however they want
It’s also a part of the industry. Liverpool have and will continue to do this to others. And the best players are advised by their agents to typically sign shorter contracts/run their deals down. They understand their value. That’s the transfer system we have today, it’s (usually) sentiment free

They're ready to blow up

Barca are beyond their tricky period and have an emerging, young and hungry team to compete domestically and in Europe. PSG establishing themselves. Plus the PL clubs are always strong

New manager, same issues with egos. It's a tinderbox in Madrid 🙏
Will be interesting to see what type of Madrid Alexander-Arnold is joining. There has been sort of small-minded bitterness and petulance around the club this season, playing the role of put upon victims when they are the grandest, most establishment club of all. Hoping the class of old returns.

Amazing response. Every vox pop is “we vote for people but nothing changes” and the policy response from the brains trust in UK Labour is “what if we did …. less?”
Labour MPs are starting to get nervous about net zero, after a disappointing set of election results

A minister cast doubt over Ed Miliband's political future

An MP said net zero could "play out the same way as Brexit"

Yamal moves like a downhill skiier. Never seen a dribbler like it really. It's like the route is a already known to him, he's just setting off along and executing a routine he's already planned out. As if none of the moves are even improvised.

Sincerely hope that the fans who spent all last summer, and January this season complaining about the club and the lack of signings have a think about what an embarrassing carry on it was

You're ruining it for yourselves, much more fun to be had believing and being positive than crying things in

Elliot does more in his 20 than Szoboszlai does in his 70 too often for you to not simply swap that ratio around

Feel like Fulham have had the best defensive shape of any team we've played this season, was the same at anfield. There's no passing angles out there at all and the press is putting real fear in to out CBs

It's a half to hate on the defence. But my instinct is still pointing me towards SoBADzlai

Will be 9 games without a win for Bournemouth after today (likely).

Not good.

Maybe everyone can see it now, but the world's richest people have tanked it all to restock assets and get liquid after years of illegally playing with funny money. They used "the wokeness" as a cudgel and it worked. The next Disney princess WILL be white, as we all eat beans under the highway.

Eight figures. Eiiiiiight figures. Eight. Figures. Listen, I know I'm screaming into the void on this one, but you know how many great authors -- marginalized authors! new authors! authors of all genres! -- you could publish with this *at a still high level of advance* -? Answer: a lot! A lot a lot!
To be clear, Donaldson is hooking up with a professional writer to write his book, but Patterson is very open about the fact that he lets other people write under his name and takes most of the money, so there’s a strong possibility that neither will write this book.

I mean, conceptually, the idea that someone could be a failed asylum seeker, but also come from somewhere to which it is too dangerous for them to be deported, does raise the question of why exactly their asylum application failed
