Labour's manifesto promised the NHS would be "publicly owned and publicly funded"

It would be a massive mistake if the government introduces new private finance, breaking their promise and against all the evidence

WELL DONE to the 40 Labour MPs standing up to say NO to new PFI

I had a great conversation with the wonderful @zackpolanski.bsky.social on his podcast. Do please listen in. I don't think you'll have heard anything quite like it. And there's a LOT more here than the title suggests. podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/h...

NHS drugs prices be hiked by 25% to appease companies.

Bankers' bonus cap abolished.

Chancellor ready to override Supreme Court judgment, cut compensation to victims of car loan scandals.

Bank frauds not investigated.
Nothing will change until the political system is freed from the clutches of corporations and the super-rich

There should be clear and strong sanctions. Otherwise, why wouldn't MPs keep hiding their conflicts of interest?

Pay Up!

It’s time all employers in the UK paid a liveable wage. It’s a bare minimum.

Living Wage Foundation have just announced that the rate has risen to £13.45 per hour/£14.80 in London.

We’ve had enough of being exploited. We’ve had enough of greedy bosses.

Just 2.9% of people in Caerphilly were born overseas.

Whereas 38% of medical consultants in Wales were born overseas.
