I'm also keen to talk bookshops. I kicked off my indie book shop crawl with a visit to the magical Tipsy Books and bar in Bideford. Andrew and Heidi opened in December and are off to a flying start. So excited for them. And they have a ghost...maybe #devonbookhour Where should I go next?

Brrr! - the past few days have been great for taking pictures in the snow, but it’s a relief that the cold spell has eased its icy grip. I took this picture along the frozen Llangollen Canal at Ellesmere Wharf on a morning when even my thickest socks were failing to keep my feet warm. #Shropshire

Greens are not perfect humans, some of us eat meat & cheese, some of us drive big cars, some of us put the wrong thing in the wrong bin sometimes. You don’t have to be a vegan cyclist with a composting toilet to be a member you just need to align with our values for social & environmental justice.

I fully disagree. Decent people and organisations should not be on Twitter.
It is already a cesspit of vile and hateful opinions. By leaving you don't make that worse, you just make it contaminate fewer people.
And if every decent person leaves, it becomes utterly worthless to the scum who stay.

I'll be going to our next local meeting – I have not been for a few years but I used to attend regularly – and at some point I am going to propose that we remove our official accounts and encourage members to do likewise. Start at the grass roots.

That's so cool. Thank you for responding. I hope to visit Trengwainton, and some other, in hopes of seeing some of his plants in cultivation and to get more material for the biography I am writing about him. Frank was my grandfather.
