According to the Elections Act, voter registry information is to be used only for revising the voter register or for conducting elections. Trying to get a recall petition against yourself quashed is not one of these purposes. Did Dale Nally commit a crime?

Let me get this straight: Recalling your city councillor because of a bike lane is in the spirit of recall legislation but recalling your UCP MLA b/c they've been non-responsive while getting rock hard over use of the Notwithstanding Clause is over the line.

What is the MLA doing digging around in voter records? That seems seriously wrong on many levels.
It is up to Elections Alberta to determine whether the petitioner meets the requirements. Hint: it has nothing to do with whether they have voted, but whether they are eligible to vote.

Hear, hear to that sentiment! Smith has yet to prove she has the best interests of average Albertans at heart in ANY regard. She hasn't done one thing to make life better or more affordable for typical Albertans.
Neglect of duty, misuse of office and incompetence perfectly describes Danielle Smith and the UCP and that is why I support the recall.
