I don't think it's because she wants separation. It's a stance of necessity. She knows that if she loses the votes of the fringe-right, she and the UCP are done in the next election -- especially with the Progressive Tory party in-play. So, she continues to feign support for them 🤷.

Quick question: when conservatives refer to Pierre Poilievre as "future Prime Minister of Canada," exactly how long into the future does that title stand for? Is there an expiry date? Because the future is a long time, and it's been at least 5-6 years now...

Two years ago, private companies were lined up to build new renewable energy powerplants in AB, w/ ZERO subsidies from the AB government. We led the country by a wide margin.
