Back to work in a week. Enough time to reorganize my daily driver PC's storage. A number of apps that I use frequently updated and it makes more sense now to offload some stuff to an older drive - stuff I can easily reinstall if the drive fails.

Back to work in a week. Enough time to reorganize my daily driver PC's storage. A number of apps that I use frequently updated and it makes more sense now to offload some stuff to an older drive - stuff I can easily reinstall if the drive fails.

Overhauled one of my socials yesterday with a focus on making people in the music community aware of what it is that I am conducting. The hope is it gets passed around and eventually people see what I'm working on with the goal of getting them in the band in future years.

1.) It's a figment of my imagination; or
2.) The secrecy is so thick and there are so many red flags that I will nope out in a heartbeat if this possibility is even one percent true.
While 2 seems plausible, 1 is far, far more likely. I think 2 is downright cruel.

It's also indicative that MAGA is actually quite weak. It had the illusion of strength but that illusion is no more.

I'm wearing a t-shirt that I'm embarrassed to admit that I had to pull/stretch to make it fit once upon a time (two years ago). Now, after an insane 19 month push by regularly going to the gym and giving it, the same shirt is insanely loose on me. Like, it's way too big now.

So.. I've decided I can live with 8 hours on a bus (4 hours each way) as long as I don't forget to bring a power bank or two so I can keep my devices and headphones charged.
I can go the distance if I queue up some podcasts and drift in/out of sleep along the way.

I'm totally ready to take over the concert band that I've been asked to take over in January. I'm in the best physical shape of my career and I've got the stamina to make it through long pieces of music that they love to perform.
I've done the work necessary and I'm ready to grow musically.
