According to Tony Gilroy, it would’ve been “pointless fan service” to mention Jyn, the protagonist of Rogue One, in Andor. Yet he mentioned Tivik and Merrick, male characters who had like 5 mins screen time combined in R1. Wonder if it’s garden variety misogyny or something against Jyn specifically
