I first became aware of this after working in the web for a long time, working closely with accessibility experts and ux designers, you learn that designing for accessibility just creates a better experience for everyone who uses your site. The same is true of sidewalks, buildings, etc.

I just think anyone who is like "stop relying on digital spaces to build community" is basically showing an entire lack of interest in Disabled people as part of their communities.
"start building community real life not digital spaces".
Cool let us know when those spaces are going to start being accessible and safe and require masking and have good ventilation.

And it's a vicious cycle because then you don't eat as healthy as you'd like and all the shitty eating makes your body less capable of managing your illness.
Disability is expensive like when you buy a bunch of groceries with the plan to cook lots of things and then you have a pain flare or your brain acts up and you have to eat takeout for days and then all your groceries go bad and then you have to go out and buy them all again.
