I am so thankful for the others being consistent and forceful in these reminders as well. This is about power now more then traditional politics as people have understood them generally in this country. It’s a whole new world now.
Yes, he's polling poorly, but he still has the power to do what he wants. If we want to stop him, we must *build the power* to do that. Sadly, we cannot disapprove our way out of fascism.

What many of us warned, & what is unavoidably clear now, is that there is no privileged sphere of "real life" that is sheltered, separate from the information environment. It's narratives all the way down -- even to the point that they shape *how people experience their own material circumstances*.

None of us can be sure what will “work.” You try multiple things and find your way in. Read some histories of the Civil Rights Movement by those who participated. They were never “sure” of what would work. Some campaigns fizzled out. But persistence, creativity, determination, and focus were key.

1. Payroll is a very small part of govt. spending
2. It is possible to cripple govt. and save little
