We are a grassroots initiative focused on mobilizing volunteers, amplifying progressive candidates, and ensuring every vote counts. https://commongroundon.blogspot.com/
The provincial election is over and the vote splitting was a huge issue but we know we cannot fix things overnight! The work of Common Ground Ontario and many others is just getting started and so this is not the end; it is just the start of a movement BUT we just need a week or so to rest :)

Hogarth was an explicit anti bike lane candidate, there at the Bloor west announcements to kill them, quite visible. And she lost. Bike lanes are a settled issue in Toronto. In the last mayoral election the anti bike lane candidates lost.

Becoming a bit of a recurring theme at this point, as right-coded politicians keep thinking attacking bike lanes is a path to electoral success. Didn’t work in the mayoral by-election either. I’m thinking it’s just generally not a salient issue — even bike skeptics have bigger things to worry about.

Doug Ford’s anti-bike lane Bill 212 was always bad policy, but now also seems like bad politics. PCs handily lost Etobicoke-Lakeshore last night, home of the “controversial” Bloor West lanes. And PC vote share in bordering Etobicoke Centre was basically flat from 2022. What was the point?

Well I am the first in line to vote at my polling station. They got me a chair.

GET OUT THERE ONTARIO! Don’t let me down.

We do not want 4 more years of Ford because of voter apathy. Don’t let a little snow slow you down.

Doug Ford needs to cancel Ontario’s contract with Starlink now. Absolutely solidarity with Ukraine but also to avoid it being used as a bargaining chip by Musk and Trump against Canada. Right now, Premier Ford.
“The United States has threatened to cut off Ukraine's access to Starlink satellite internet terminals if Kyiv does not reach a deal with the U.S. regarding critical mineral resources, Reuters reported on Feb. 21, citing three sources familiar with the negotiations.”
