This excerpt reminded me of what Bonnie Briggs always lamented - we have grand memorials for those who died in war but not for those who died homeless in Canada. Thus the #Toronto #Homeless Memorial, a physical one plus monthly event for 25 years. #homelessnesskills

Today, #toronto 25-yr-old monthly #homelessmemorial coincides with Remembrance Day. The connection? WWII vets fought for our national housing program. PM @markcarneyforpm.bsky.social budget does not include the $$ for his housing promises.
