If Labour agree that the Tories' botched Brexit deal is hurting our country, they should stop complaining and start fixing it.

Starting with a new UK-EU customs union.

The Tories can shout at me all they like, but the truth is their Brexit deal it is hurting our country and Labour won’t do anything about it.

Today I urged the Prime Minister to actually fix it.

As I told the BBC today, Tory asylum accommodation contracts still allow providers to make obscene profit, earning 8x more by keeping asylum applicants in hotels.

Another scandal, like PPE - although one Labour could solve if they listened to the Liberal Democrats.

It is shocking that any reasonable politician would suggest leaving the ECHR, but to do so "calmly" is added weirdness. What was the alternative?

Was "We will leave the ECHR dressed like ninjas singing 'sweet caroline' smashing the furniture on the way out" really considered?

Keir Starmers worries;
Nigel Farage is stealing the agenda.
Andy Burnham is stealing his party.
@libdems.org.uk stealing his liberal wing
@greenparty.org.uk stealing his socialist wing

Kemi Badenoch, leader of the official opposition, no worries.

Strange times.

How to make policy

1. Establish the need/benefits to do it in the first place.

2. Consider the risks, mitigations, and costs.

3. Consider if the need/benefits justify the risk/costs.

What is happening in Gaza is a genocide. And the President of the United States is doing nothing to stop it.

Keir Starmer must raise this with Trump during the state visit.

How pensioners cope without winter fuel payments matters. How employers react to NI hike is important. Absence of an economic growth plan for the short term is frightening. That a young Rachel Reeves messed up her expenses form is not news, but a distraction from it.

The Conservatives broke their word to our community and now this government has kicked the issue into the long grass.
