The Prime Minister has repeatedly demonstrated appalling judgement in his appointments.

The British people deserve more than just excuse after excuse.

In my latest piece in the #Woking News and Mail, I report back on my debate in Parliament to better protect vulnerable children, how I’m standing up to big property management companies and campaigning to improve our underfunded school buildings.

Day I went back to school left me deeply concerned
One of my biggest focuses since being elected as Woking’s Member of Parliament has been protecting vulnerable children.

I’ve written for the Parliament Magazine about how local authority children’s services are rotting from within - nowhere is that clearer than in my #Woking constituency.

The Cranston Inquiry finds Channel deaths could have been prevented. To stop more deaths, we need to cooperate far more closely with Europe, make sure the coastguard has the resources and confidence to do its job, and bring control to our asylum system.

Delighted to sponsor an event in Parliament today for @walkthewalk.bsky.social, a national cancer charity proudly headquartered here in #Woking who organise the world-famous MoonWalk London.

It's a privilege to support such a fantastic organisation and introduce their work to fellow MPs.

Great to visit Inno-lite in Old #Woking, a specialist lighting firm that literally brightens up our town.

I'll be taking forward their concerns, echoed by many local businesses, about rising costs, National Insurance, global freight disruption and post-Brexit border delays.

Today is Holocaust Memorial Day, the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz Birkenau. My thoughts are with the Jewish community in #Woking and beyond.

I have signed the Holocaust Book of Commitment, pledging to remember those persecuted by the Nazis - we must never forget.

In my latest column in the #Woking News and Mail, I’ve put the NHS front and centre. I’ve recently called for the Government to tackle the £80 million repairs backlog at Ashford and St Peter’s, and I’m campaigning to lower transport costs for NHS staff.

This week, I attended Age UK’s event in Parliament about corridor care. A shocking 9,793 patients waited 12 hours or more in corridors at A&Es in #Surrey in 2025. The @libdems.org.uk have a plan to tackle this by making 6,000 extra hospital beds available to end corridor care.

Enough appeasement: Britain needs its own trade bazooka to stand up to him.

My campaign to help businesses in #Woking is gathering momentum. They are under serve pressure, yet the Government is set to make things even worse with a huge increase in Business Rates. The @libdems.org.uk and I pushing for another U-turn and help for the hospitality sector.
