When this gets spun to non-super online people as Frey leaving a rigged DSA convention, just remember that he couldn’t get the votes, couldn’t play the quorum game (math is math), and the remaining hope is to make it chaotic and pretend you didn’t light the match.
Fateh endorsed on second vote, a show-your-badge vote. The Frey folks tried to walk out to deny quorum but didn’t have the numbers so it just made the vote stark and obvious.

Almost 20 hours into my hunger strike protest against outside food bans. Going strong.
Just ate my last meal before the 24 hour fast begins. People wonder if I'm religious and I tell them no, I'm just prepping for a full day at a local political convention held at a highly secure, fully locked down NBA arena with a ban on outside food.

Seriously: If you're a Democrat, this is the ground you have *won* on. being unequivocally pro trans rights is the easiest, no brainer popularist position to take. Every one of your constituents knows a trans person. This is a wedge issue between all the normal people and a few Republican fanatics.

Yes, And: I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Trump's ambitions of Just Literal Open Empire were coming no matter what; but Gaza destroyed our credibility in International Norms of Order, so of course the US wants Canada, Panama, and Greenland now.
I probably would have been writing a ton about Project 2025 in 2024 if it were not for the genocide. I'm sure that's true about a ton of the best policy researchers out there. The impact of Democratic Party-backed genocide comes through in a thousand different ways that are largely not measurable
