Reading is food for your mind. Like food, different reading choices serve different purposes. Some books are read for pleasure; some to satisfy a need. Some are like junk food; great as long as that's not all you eat. Some help to counter an imbalance in knowledge or experience. Variety is the key.

So let me get this right. Keir Starmer, Lisa Nandy, Ian Murray etc… think it’s totally unnaceptable to ban violent thugs from abroad who make pro-genocide chants about raping women & killing kids, but they will happily have disabled pensioners arrested for holding Palestine Action placards?

Scotland has 15,000 homeless children, but 21,000 second homes and 46,000 empty homes. This is a problem we can solve by 'encouraging' second/empty home owners to sell.

What has Yvette Cooper’s proscription of Palestine Action done to this country?
Beyond absurd. It’s extreme authoritarianism. These police should be arresting rapists & crooks, not neglecting those duties to spend time arresting citizens standing against genocide.
It undermines police and the law.

The UK Government’s recognition of Palestine is a welcome step, and one that is long overdue.
But words alone will not stop the genocide in Gaza.
Sanctions, an end to arms sales, a ban on goods from settlements, and the suspension of the UK–Israel trade deal must follow.
