i don't know why it still surprises me a decade in to my career as a video game writer but it truly is utterly impossible to get anyone to read something. if you have a task that requires reading anything longer than a powerpoint slide, just forget about it

I cannot wait to again have some extra time on my hands so I can start nagging Vincent about some commissions for my side-project @_@
Experimenting with the visual feedback for the dialogue. When the Player chooses the wrong answer, they take damage points (shown by the heart meter) and have ꜱᴀᴠᴀɢᴇ ᴍᴀɢᴇɴᴛᴀ on their face.
They should enjoy it and come back for more.

This is one of the first illustrations I made for The White Horse of Lowvale. It is based in a Germanic legend, although I've always found fascinating the amount of cultures referencing an evil white horse that charms people to take them for a ride and drown them.

The fact that the thing we're calling artificial intelligence *can't do math* and yet we're jamming it into programs that successfully *have done math* for decades, then warning people against using the AI to do math, seems like an excellent summary of where we are.
Good thing no one uses Microsoft Excel for anything related to legal, regulatory or compliance business functions
