Camp old nonsense, vintage telly, wide ranging music tastes. Brought to you by a middle aged middle class gay who responds well to snacks.

@bbc6music.bsky.social is so good today that I have hoovered the whole house, cleaned the bathroom and ironed two weeks of shirts. I’ve made up a massive playlist of music too. Perfect.

Absolutely lovely and warm and romantic. Stopped me in my tracks, doing the hoovering on a gloomy morning

The difference between WH Smith and TG Jones:

#DoctorWhoMagazine special editions never used to be available soon after publication, sometimes at all. But I bought the new #TerryNation one on publication day!

October 82 at my fave motel:

Glenda has walked out, Reg is back, Paul has his fingers in many pies, David is getting himself caught between two women, Arthur is a tower of strength.

I bluddy luv it.

I note that it’s International Stress Awareness Week.

Hollow fucking laughter.

I’ve just seen #BackToTheFuture at the cinema. Forgotten how good it is! It used to be on telly all the time and I loved it, and it’s still great fun. The camper can full of Libyan terrorists helps distract from the constant product placement.

Hotel breakfast, and I find this available alongside the “waffle station”. A prime example of why this country is going to the dogs, if you ask me. I bet they call them “sprinkles” instead of hundreds and thousands, too.

To all those people who have gone out dressed in an orange jumpsuit thing for Halloween, pretending to be an American criminal, I’d like to say how boring and unimaginative you are.

If you see this, quote with a robot that isn't from "Star Wars", "Star Trek", "Doctor Who", or "Transformers".

This is Enigmarelle. Look her up, but please don’t have nightmares.

There’s a beautiful new book about the beautiful Fenella Fielding and if you order it via her website it comes with an original 1970s vintage signed cheque from the great lady herself. I’m thrilled.
