Some impressive Freudian projection here.

We will keep our federal leadership and the CBC, thanks.

Uhh… yes. Academics, teachers, and others have been saying this for ages.

Modern university textbooks now let you make AI assignments. Students use AI to solve them. And AI marks them. No exchange of information. It is terrifying.
Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.

I noticed that Quentin Robinson, former MB NDP candidate in Brandon West last prov election, has spoken out against this project for environmental reasons. Good for him.

It is shocking how the MB NDP has alienated their base with their disastrous policies. #mbpoli

The double hubris of building fossil fuel generating stations to power future AI centres in MB is staggering.

Who is advising the MB NDP on this? The Koch brothers? It might as well be the Marx brothers for what a boondoggle this will be. Kind of like building a pipeline to Churchill. #mbpoli
"We're only going to burn methane for peak winter loads"
I call BS. This will be used to power AI data centres in Manitoba.
It will be burning & polluting constantly & will jack up our utility bills as a direct consequence.
You heard it here first.

(1) Communism isn’t the same as socialism. Mamdani is socialist. Maybe if the US dept of education wasn’t cut, these differences would be known.
(2) I have a suspicion that Jesus is a socialist. Cutting a food stamp program wouldn’t be his thing, unlike the modern “Christian” GOP that supported cuts
At least Trump is going into this with an open mind as a positive and optimistic unifier of the American people.

I’m not sure what has to happen for Trump to be impeached and removed from office. Advocating for murdering your own citizens should be a tipping point.

More magical thinking from the MB NDP.

More terrible environmental policies. As long as the jobs are unionized and the right people get rich on projects like this, the environment will always be the lowest priority. They were anti-science when I was a part of them and that hasn’t changed. Shameful.
Mr. Kinew's strategy is pure genius: jack up fossil fuel use by building methane-powered power plants & subsidizing gas guzzlers with gas-tax cuts.
The benefit?
We melt Arctic ice quicker to open up shipping lanes for exporting MORE fossil fuels from Churchill.
Every little bit counts. #FossilFools

I was out of province last week and everyone was saying how nice it must be to have Wab as premier. Sure, he's better than a lot of the alternatives. But it would be easier to be as excited as those colleagues if he didn't insist on governing like a Tory with promises to build $3b in FF generation.

This is a jail.

I expected more out of a “compassionate” MB NDP government.

As someone that has volunteered with Gifts of Grace through the Main St Project & those experiencing addictions downtown for 14 years, I am appalled at these conditions in the new detox center. I’m not alone in my opinion

We are addicted to oil and gas. It is our drug.

We have seen such a dramatic example of the consequences of climate change in 2025. Catastrophic fires, hurricanes and other disasters driven by a warming planet and the oil and gas industry. But yeah let’s fund them some more.

We reap what we sow.
Imagine a Colombian Drug Lord going to the govt & saying we can't shut down our drug industry because it means too much to Colombia's GDP. Exactly the same argument our Gas Lords make when destroying the environment to ramp up tarsands production. Might as well be Pablo Escobar. #EnergyTransition
