Watching Taylor's second film. Kaleidoscope with lots of imagery that rings to reputation as the pre show visuals.

I think there will be something about it... Easter Egg?

In the midst of camp season and ten weeks or so of constants, I missed Shark Week.

Anything I need to prioritize before class begins next Monday?

Reasons why we attend church online: it took over two hours today for one of the tiny humans to wake up, shower, and get dressed.

Online community when in person doesn't work is still valid.

Someone please help me remember 95 copies of 84 page curriculum takes 3 hours to print.

Because I will have to reschedule things the next time I forget.

America has never been broke. It’s just violently anti-poor. Troops in LA cost $134M — the price of 44 million school lunches.

But sure, let’s keep pretending the issue is lazy parents and not a government that eats kids for breakfast.

On the birthday of the church, may the spirit of Christ overflow to all from all of us who claim Christ. That living spirit that offers love and grace that can change the world.

Watching youth build ramps to set people free to access the world is a perfect incarnation of Christ in this world needing more hope. #youthministry

Every $1 spent on NIH funding returns nearly $3 to the economy - an almost 200% return on investment💰.
Also 99% of drugs developed 2010-2019 were funded by NIH ‼️🤯
Cutting NIH funding not only hurts the economy but will hurt families and patients 😔💔

60% of American households can’t afford a minimal quality of life.

Meanwhile, the 19 richest households saw their wealth increase by $1 trillion in 2024 — the biggest one-year increase ever.

Our problem isn't a lack of resources.

Our problem is ever-expanding inequality.

This is why I believe it’s best to run campaigns based on bold, transformational change. You draw swing voters AND inspire new voters to get involved. It’s both good policy and politics!
Swing voters are often characterized as “moderate,” even though every election shows us more and more that they’re really “change voters.” They’re not loyal to any ideology, they want something different, because the status quo isn’t working.

Looking at climate change. The average first 100 degree day in Fort Worth is July 1. Over the last 6 years, nothin before June 11. Tomorrow, May 14, nearly a month before the most recent early day, we are expecting 104°.

Y'all. This is going to be a hard year. Pray, donate bottled water, and care.

Driving in Fort Worth today, this was proudly displayed. I was sure I misread it. Because, terrorists incite terror, and that was what the enslavers did.

So, I'm confused as to what history this comes from. Because it's not right.

If the U.S. per capita GDP is 82k, how do we have an average household (2.51 people) income of $77,540?

That's an awful lot of profit sitting in a few people's hands.

My first apartment in 1994 was $350/month. Adjusting for inflation, that apartment should now rent for $744/month.

It actually rents for $1500. Greed and inflation are hurting the kids, not their Starbucks lattes.
