In the 10 byelections, the LDs have gained from the CONs, GRNs, INDs and LAB, with a narrow loss to REF by 31 votes in Babergh.

Absolutely colossal night of success for the Lib Dems.
In the 10 byelections, the LDs have gained from the CONs, GRNs, INDs and LAB, with a narrow loss to REF by 31 votes in Babergh.

The admission from the Environment Agency that this is the first full update of their model since 2018 is shocking. We have some of the best scientists in the world at the Met Office but their work has been ignored & not used to in local flood risk models.

Today's statement has left many WASPI women rightfully furious. The decision to give no compensation at all completely ignores the findings of the Ombudsman's report and leaves thousands of WASPI women feeling abandoned.
