Did someone post a #photo of a #hoar #frost on a #tree? Okay, I know I did that just two days ago, but I also have this other #winter shot which I'd like to share. Here's hoping everyone is having a very good December so far. Stay warm, folks. #photography #weather #cold #Calgary #surreal

Yesterday we visited Green Mountain Falls, CO to visit the kinetic sculpture Off the Beaten Path by Patrick Shearn. I wasn’t ready for just how dynamic it was even in the slightest breeze. Reminds me of a murmuration of starlings. Incredible artwork. It’ll only be up through October 19th.

Here's wishing everyone a great Sunday! Yesterday, after I took the #photo I posted of this young #white tailed #buck grazing in a field of #canola, he walked to the top of the hill, stopped & looked back at me, allowing me one more #photograph. 🙂

Here’s the massive, magnificent but very rare Octobasse, invented in 1850. To play it, the musician must stand on a platform. You can hear its rather alarming deep bass tone, and see it being played, at www.youtube.com/watch?v=12X-...
