My £0.02. The good news. De Ligt continues to look better every game. Mbeumo looks a proper player. The team is way more organised than under ETH and Ole. That’s not easy, credit where it’s due. The team isn’t shirking or not putting enough metres into a game, again better than recent seasons.

I used ChatGPT today, first time in months. It was unbelievably bad. I asked for the line up of a semi-pro football team I know about. It plucked players from teams that never played for this club. Listed them as fact. Literally made shit up. Even waffled about their contributions to the season.

I love this so much and I am absolutely tearing up about it. The gentleness and plainness of this, the way he just lets her be her (and she seems so damn lovely, who wouldn’t?), the generosity.

Just finished this book: so good! The story about Buchan and the Wheatsheaf (no spoilers) is astonishing - @andymitten.bsky.social, great book man. The parallels with the ‘73 team and the current United really are properly troubling. So much I didn’t know about this period - recommend to all Reds.
