Stand up to the far right rather than appease it.
More of that please!
I'm just over 100 days as the leader of the Green Party.

We've had several polls where we're in second place above Labour.

And today we found out we are closing in on overtaking Labours membership.

Then we're coming for Reform.

Streetingis a c**t.Trimmimg back excess in NHSE, DHSC, ICB, CSU is needed- fine. 18,000 redundancies from existing NHS budgets with no strategy as to how importantgaps will be filled is atrocious. I expect to be redundant within year 😢
He’s a ham fisted, PR greedy, dodgily funded, posturing arsehole
Streeting says he can't rule out harm or death over Christmas caused by the resident doctors strike.

In fact, he is the one responsible since he ignored resident doctors' requests for meetings in October and November to resolve the issues.

His f***ing job is to keep us safe

He is playing politics
@fletchjack.bsky.social from the BMA explains they've been trying to get round the table with Wes Streeting for several months but Streeting didn't even bother replying to their letter

Now we're in Dec with a Flu epidemic & Streeting is accusing resident doctors of endangering patients

I think fans should boycott the World Cup next year.
At least the games in the USA.

Not hand-wringing.
Not “mixed feelings”.
A boycott.

Most probably don’t realise that before Thatcher 42% of people lived in council housing - now it’s only 6%. There is a housing crisis and over 300,000 are homeless as a result of her policies. The damage she did to this country is immense and irreversible yet she is viewed by so many as an icon.
I’ve never understood the adulation people have for Thatcher. She was a heartless monster who asset-stripped an entire country and squandered the money to buy votes. The idea that she was some sort of economic genius is farcical and the terrible state of the country today is her legacy.

Born Czech as Tomáš Sträussler in Zlin in 1937, Stoppard's family escaped to Singapore on the day the Nazis invaded Czechoslovakia, then to British India.

@oxfordshirecc.bsky.social how about tackling the shameful flag orgy at the Headington Roundabout? Surely there are cameras aplenty there - you can’t find anything to identify the culprits and fine/ charge them?
Disgraceful! A patriotic flag shagger who dedicated his time to illegally putting up 64 flags is being charged £2,300 for the cost of taking them down. If it wasn't so funny I'd be furious.

See? That’s the problem!

Now one of the last know survivors of that terrorist attack has passed away and the story fades along with her.
The first time terrorists used planes to attack Americans wasn’t on 9/11 or at Pearl Harbor. It was the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921 when white supremacists flew a dozen planes to drop turpentine or nitroglycerin bombs on Black Americans.

Viola Fletcher was there.

Arresting people for holding such signs is not the obvious reason we have a special and distinct system of terrorism law.
BREAKING: Protestors in Derry, North of Ireland, are also holding signs which say "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action".

This week, ahead of the judicial review of the ban, protests defying the unjust law have taken place in Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales.
