That a dude with a couple cameras and a plate of appetizers can make something worth $82.5 million and a media company looks at that and goes "couldn't we make even more money if we had AI do it?" tells you exactly how stupid these people are
The $82.5 million sale of "Hot Ones" studio First We Feast is part of a broader strategy at BuzzFeed to shift away from human editors, writers and content producers in favor of artificial intelligence, which result in "high-margin, tech-enabled revenue lines."

Planning and executing the washing and then hanging to dry of the endless loads of laundry I do every weekend has become like Zen meditation for me. I’ll go down there at 1 a.m. to hang some linens. Having to use my dryer feels like massive personal failing. All this: very unexpected.

Someone wrote, once you realize the Rockies are Performance Art and not a baseball team they make a lot more sense, and it’s true
Rockies refuse to trade Brendan Rodgers at the deadline bc he’s a piece they want to build around. Four months later, they non-tender him and sign Kyle Farmer. Never change, Rockies
