One wonders if they will look at a Christian saying grace before a meal in public the same? Do many Christmas decorations now need to go? What about mailers or saying bless you after a sneeze? We know they'll only they draw the line at Muslim prayer only.

Caught the new #toxicavenger - I can't believe my mom used to rent these for me when I was a kid! This was decent- exceeded expectations on quality, but it felt like it didn't quite reach the bat shit crazy and random extreme levels that are classic Troma hallmarks. A fun gory good time though.

I'm surprised Aparo doesn't get more love as an all time great as for a lot of us his Batman was the batman.
Today is the birthday of artist Jim Aparo (Aug. 24, 1932-July 19, 2005), who is probably most remembered for his work on Batman, Aquaman, the Spectre, & the Outsiders.

One of my favourites, and while there's been some memorable scenes, visuals, and images in the multitude of King adapts- I'd argue that only Stand by Me, Shawshank, Carrie (76) and the Mist are the only true great adaptations of Kings work (1990's It, and Christine come close).

Saw Nobody 2- it was decent; I think the tight run time stopped it from going off the rails, but also might have prevented it from developing further. It's kind of a movie that just exists- nothing bad in there and it delivers action, but also nothing memorable either.

I'm getting married in 77 days! It seems both so close & so far away. We still have about half the bill to pay on everything + a few odds and ends like alterations & waiting for the rings to come in, but overall hoping to land this event with as minimal stress as possible in advance of the big day!
