Caught the new #toxicavenger - I can't believe my mom used to rent these for me when I was a kid! This was decent- exceeded expectations on quality, but it felt like it didn't quite reach the bat shit crazy and random extreme levels that are classic Troma hallmarks. A fun gory good time though.

Saw Nobody 2- it was decent; I think the tight run time stopped it from going off the rails, but also might have prevented it from developing further. It's kind of a movie that just exists- nothing bad in there and it delivers action, but also nothing memorable either.

I was always more partial to Cracked than Mad as a kid, but looking back I'm struck by 2 things; 1) these mags were my first exposure to a lot of 80's pop culture- Long before I saw Alien, a Rocky sequel, or any number of late night TV, I saw the parody first. 2) the art was way underrated.
