It's almost as if this was always the plan.
This sounds preposterous.

Until you realise how incredibly quickly the Tory Party, legendary as the most effective political machine in history, has completely and utterly destroyed itself.

The age of Brexit is the dinosaur extinction event for traditional parties.
How does it feel to be living under what is likely to be the last ever Labour government?

(If through their terrible policy choices and abysmal comms, they open the door to an outright Reform victory in 2029, there's no walking away from that level of failure. Think LibDems and tuition fees x100!)

Who Governs?

JP Morgan threatened to quit UK over mooted tax rise for banks.

CEO met Reeves/Starmer, tax didn't rise.

Govt cut benefits, dept budgets; real tax rises for others.

Corporations dodge taxes, bully govts and govern. Curbing their power is essential for any form of democracy.

Whilst the MSM love a 'good' misleading headline and enough spin to keep their readers ,'wokeless', we need threads like this to give weight to the counter balance. Thank you Emma.
Ok - you’ve seen the headlines about the “secretive” government agency planning on “dimming” the sun?

Sounds like something out of a Marvel film or a 1960’s James Bond, right?

Here’s a 🧵on who the government agency is and what *exactly* it is that they’re funding

Brexit was a referendum on whether the UK should leave the European Union.

The UK has left the European Union. Referendum fulfilled.

If the people bleating about "Brexit Betrayal" wanted the Referendum to enshrine their pet policy preferences, they should have included them in the question.

The trouble with 'the truth' it is usually a typo. Insert 'ir' suffix to 'the'.
If something can be destroyed by the truth, then it deserves to be destroyed by the truth.

Britain should be a welcoming home for those who help us, not a hornet's nest of hate. The immigrant nurse is our sister. The immigrant delivery driver is our brother. Immigrants hold the fabric of our UK together. They're Britain's honorary children. They should be treated with respect!

Creepy!
It’s genuinely embarrassing that a minor sectoral deal with a fascist clown (not irrelevant, not pointless, but definitely minor) is being compared by Keir Starmer with the historic significance of VE Day. UK needs to grow up and do a proper deal with Europe.

This morning the world is made of wind,

were drawing wind into its gills. - Ted Kooser.

Already we have factory farmed, free range and organic chicken. Cost to the consumer might be a side issue over nutritional aspects, but the ethics of animal husbandry becomes a side issue. Far more complex than single trade deal issues.

'That would be your government making an arrangement that undercut British chicken.'

'You're saying people on a budget are getting less good food.'

As the US-UK trade deal is announced, Shelagh Fogarty explains the 'injustices' that accepting chlorinated chicken could lead to.
